While other parts of California are thriving, our district in Imperial and Riverside counties suffers from unemployment rates almost three times higher than the rest of the state.

Eduardo Garcia voted for a farm worker overtime bill that experts says will cut hours and reduce pay for farm workers and he voted for legislation in Sacramento that increases taxes and fees on farmers and others involved in agriculture.

Jeff Gonzalez says that government and agriculture should be partners, not adversaries, and that bringing more and better jobs to our area will be his highest priority in the State Assembly.
