Issue Position

Pat has worked hard on issues important to our first responders, our police and firefighters. He has fought for funding for our local fire departments, worked with departments to address issues that they are facing and introduced legislation to address the recruitment issues volunteer fire departments are facing. Pat introduced legislation to provide a sales tax break for Volunteer Fire fighters purchasing their own equipment(SB594) and had liquor reforms enacted to enable fire departments to host more events.
