After two back-to-back disastrous storms, Sen. Watson led the fight for funding for coastal protection and renourishment. Ben proposed legislation to help disaster victims and supported legislation for $10 million of funding for additional beach renourishment. He also authored successful legislation, SB 101, to help protect our marshes.
