As a survivor of domestic violence, Susan Rubio fights for tougher laws that will end sexual harassment in the workplace and stop the vicious cycle of domestic abuse.

The lack of women representation in the California Legislature, is one of the reasons why the Sacramento Old Boy's Club ignored years of harassment and abuse by legislators. Susan will end that.

Susan has helped women get elected, demanded equal representation on commissions and created a domestic violence advocacy program for victims to be protected statewide.

"The dynamic needs to change, not only in our government but in the corporate offices across the state," Rubio said. "I will fight for women's rights, equal pay and more opportunities in education, child care, and housing. Our voices are important, but they have to be there to be heard."
