Issue Position

Steve has always stood with law enforcement. Steve has worked in Pierce County to keep sex predators from being placed in our district with his work on 'fair share' legislation. He worked closely with law enforcement to address the problems of boarding the mentally ill in our jails. He is endorsed by our police and firefighters and is an honorary firefighter. His priority is both keeping our neighborhoods and our first responders safe, and he's a six-time winner of the Washington State Council of Police and Sheriffs as Legislator of the year.
