Issue Position

For Melissa, the opportunity for a good job provided a path out of poverty and into the middle-class. She believes everyone deserves this same opportunity and believes we need to invest in creating jobs right here in the Valley. She understands that small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and on the Sanger City Council, she worked to save a local production company from having to move and even expanded the number of good paying jobs there. In the State Senate, Melissa will work to bring high-wage employers to the Valley and cut red tape so our local business owners can thrive and continue to create good paying jobs.
