What I Believe:
Nobody who works full time should live in poverty.
Oregon can take practical, effective steps to counter the obscene wealth and opportunity gaps prevailing in America.
Action We Need:
Make Oregon's tax system more progressive and productive. Keep building the progressive and diverse coalition that can make that happen
Stabilize ample funding for public education. Investing in K-12, community colleges and tech-ed programs are critical to opening doors to family wage jobs
Defend against so-called "right to work" measures and attacks on collective bargaining that shift even more power from working people to corporations.
Tilt economic development strategies towards locally-owned businesses and people who want to start them
Work with local governments across the state to make housing affordable for more Oregonians
