South Carolina is a military state, home to eight major military installations and more than 60,000 Department of Defense personnel. 417,000 veterans call the Palmetto State home.

As governor, I am committed to supporting the men and women of the armed forces, and to bolstering the close bond between military communities and the State of South Carolina.
