Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement after H.R. 2, the Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018 failed to pass the House. The House will continue consideration of H.R. 2 in the upcoming weeks.

"I am disappointed that important legislation benefiting agriculture and food safety has been caught in the crossfire of a totally unrelated issue -- a feud within the House on immigration. I am hopeful we will see the vote recalled and the Farm Bill passed. Our farmers and ranchers deserve better."
