Cosponsored and voted in support of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (H.R. 2353) which would improve education and workforce development program alignment to help more Americans enter the workforce with the skills they need to compete for good-paying, in-demand jobs critical to our nation's economy.Cosponsored the PROSPER Act (H.R. 4508) which would reauthorize and reform the Higher Education Act to streamline and simplify student aid, prioritize degree completion, increase transparency and accountability, and help more Americans access affordable higher education.Introduced the USA Workforce Tax Credit Act (H.R. 5153) to expand opportunities for community-based apprenticeship programs to help build a strong workforce for in-demand industries.
