Hoeven Statement on Net Neutrality

Statement

Date: May 16, 2018
Location: Washington, DC

Senator John Hoeven released the following statement on net neutrality legislation:

"We want open, transparent and fair access to the internet. That means net neutrality in a generic sense, not the Obama Administration developed regulation. Democrats should join Republicans in developing a modern and fair regulatory framework that ensures access. Regulation should be light-touch to ensure fair access, but not stifle innovation and competition."
