Issue Position

The Trump Administration is serious about energy independence for America, and I agree wholeheartedly. It is not just a national security issue but an economic one as well. Energy exports strengthen our hand in international relations and it creates hundreds of thousands of well-paying jobs. Government must also be guided by real science and consider every energy resource available. Subsidizing or favoring fashionable technologies creates an unlevel playing field and cheats American taxpayers. Clean, abundant energy is not only a possibility, it is an inevitability if we are guided by sound policy.
