Senator Vitale has worked on several pieces of legislation which would benefit seniors, including allowing for them to return overpayments of homestead rebates or property taxes in installments to make the process more convenient, excluding seniors from municipal building permit fees, and requiring doctors to offer hepatitis C testing to those born between 1945 and 1965 to protect them from the possible spread of the disease.
