For many years Israel has been a critical ally and a key trade partner for the State of Texas. We must stand by our friend in the Middle East and prohibit state and local governmental entities from contracting with companies that boycott Israel, thereby protecting Texas trade and opposing discrimination against entities and individuals on the basis of their national origin, ethnicity, or religion.
