Today, KWCH interviewed Ron Estes about the special election and his potential candidacy to replace Mike Pompeo as Congressman from the Fourth Congressional District.
"I have been speaking with a lot of the delegates recently. A lot of the delegates are folks my wife Susan and I have worked with closely over the years on numerous campaigns, causes, and Republican party activities. I have received a lot of positive support from the delegates, and I believe we have a lot of positive momentum going our way," said Estes.
Candidates will have a very short timeframe to campaign before a special election in only a couple months.
"Candidates will have to hit the ground running. That's why it is important for Republicans to have a candidate who is used to running in elections and is able to win," said Estes.
