On Tuesday, with overwhelming bipartisan support, the House passed the Iran Sanctions Extension Act. I proudly support this legislation, which extends sanctions on Iran for 10 more years and pushes back on the rogue regime's rush towards a nuclear weapon.

Today, the House passed the Midnight Rules Relief Act to ensure the Obama Administration does not push through excessive, high-cost, and politically driven regulations, or "Midnight Rules" in the last days of his presidency. This bill gives Congress the ability to disapprove of these excessive regulations that often hurt Texas businesses.

Additionally this week we passed bills to help small business, and protect patient access to emergency medications.

Now that Republicans will lead the House, Senate, and Presidency, we are ready to hit the ground running to restore America and get us back on track. We had our leadership elections and established the rules of the House. We're ready to get to work for the American People!
