Today, Governor Maggie Hassan participated in a Meet the Candidate Forum at RiverWoods retirement community, where she highlighted her commitment to working across party lines to stand up to corporate special interests and get results for New Hampshire's families, seniors and small businesses.
"It was great to be at RiverWoods today to discuss the clear choice that voters will face on November 8 between a Senator whose agenda is shaped by the corporate special interests running the show in Washington, or a Senator who fights for New Hampshire and our priorities," said Governor Maggie Hassan.
Maggie also highlighted her bipartisan work to balance the budget without a sales or income tax, freeze college tuition at the university system for the first time in 25 years and lower tuition at community colleges, and her comprehensive, hands-on approach to our heroin and opioid crisis.
As Senator, Maggie will bring her bipartisan approach, common sense and commitment to problem solving to Washington to take on corporate special interests and get results for hard-working New Hampshire families and small businesses.
