Yesterday Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, a Democrat, offered a blunt critique of the health care law, saying that the law is "no longer affordable for increasing numbers of people It's got some serious blemishes right now and serious deficiencies." Gov. Dayton is the latest Democrat to join President Bill Clinton in admitting the devastating effects the law is having on families' pocketbooks, and pressure is growing on Governor Hassan to do the same.
Governor Hassan has been unable to find any faults in Obamacare, and has even praised the law as a way to "improve affordability and increase choices," but New Hampshire has unfortunately seen the exact opposite: health care is more unaffordable with fewer choices.
"While other Democrats are waking up to the unaffordable realities of Obamacare, Governor Hassan has doubled down on her support for this failed law that has driven up costs and reduced choice," said spokeswoman Liz Johnson. "Hassan has no plan to address the serious problems with this law, and her blind support for Washington-driven, one-size-fits-all health care policies proves that will always put her party ahead of the people of New Hampshire."
