Exposed: Hassan's Budget Hypocrisy

Statement

"I want to talk about Governor Hassan's budgets that she has talked about here today. Governor Hassan has a long history of supporting increases in taxes to businesses, going back to LLC income tax that really was going to hit our small businesses, she was an original sponsor of. The budgets that she's claiming credit for, when she vetoed the budget that reduced taxes on small businesses, essentially she called it dishonest. She ends up signing the same budget… Actually not signing,I should say, the one thing that is bipartisan about her budget is that Republicans and Democrats came together to override her veto. It's been called largely partisan. That's not the approach that we need in Washington."
