It is notable that New Hampshire was the first state in the country to pass marriage equality through its legislature. The citizens here have demonstrated their commitment to equality for all regardless of sexual orientation, but there is still work to be done to protect the rights of members of the LGBT community. I will continue to prioritize the health, safety, and civil rights of members of the LGBT community especially young people. With others around the state, we will continue to work to make New Hampshire fully inclusive.
