Issue Position

As a former prosecutor and New Hampshire Attorney General, Kelly worked closely with crime victims and our law enforcement community. Her whole career has been about keeping our communities safe.

In the Senate, Kelly has taken the lead on bipartisan efforts to give law enforcement better tools to stop domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking and to provide victims with the support system they need. She has also worked to keep our kids safe from predators and dangerous synthetic drugs.

Kelly has stood up for our police and first responders, working to make sure they have the resources they need and leading the effort to ensure that public safety officers' survivor benefits can't be taxed.
