Issue Position

Rich worked for 19 years in the agriculture industry and understands how important agriculture is to our state's economy. Rich will champion initiatives to increase international trade of our farm commodities, and fight efforts to impose one-size-fits-all regulations on family farms. Rich knows farmers are the best stewards of the land and will work to roll back unworkable buffer strip mandates that hurt farm profitability.

Draheim lists his legislative priorities as the promotion of job creation and growth of main street economies; a reduced regulatory burden on farmers and small business owners; fair education funding, reform and accountability; and overall emphasis on effective and efficient government.
