Issue Position

Life is a gift from God and should be protected by those in the legislature. The future of our country and nation is in our children, and the history, wisdom, and life experience are in our elderly. Both spectrums of life, from the very beginning to the very end, are of inestimable value, and it is the duty of our government to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, as articulated by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence. I believe in the sanctity of human life, regardless of the individual differences represented in our diverse culture. Each person's life is valuable, period.
