Minnesota "had" one of best healthcare programs in the nation until the Affordable Healthcare Act derailed our system. Once again, big government thought they knew better, but they did not. Now we need to call it the "Unaffordable Healthcare Act". Premiums soaring, private insurance companies dropping out after losing millions, and thousands of Minnesotans being forced to find other insurance time and time again. Unlike most politicians who simply condemn the current system, I will work for a common sense solution. In consulting with healthcare experts, I believe we have found a solution that combines the best of the private sector healthcare insurance with a government plan….the net result is better coverage at a better price. Once elected I will partner with other senators to move this solution forward.
