Issue Position

Government should do what every responsible teenager and college student know: don't spend more than you make. Prioritizing and properly budgeting are foundational to an economically successful individual or family, and it is no different for government. Minnesota's legislatures must spend the taxpayers' money wisely and efficiently. The fundamental spending responsibilities are for education, safety, law enforcement, roads, and bridges.
