Thanks to the direct property tax relief passed by the legislation in 2013 and 2014, Minnesotans will be paying less in property taxes statewide for the first time in over a decade. Rep. Rick Hansen also voted to use a significant portion of the 2014 budget surplus to cut taxes for more than a million Minnesotans.
