Our future success as an economy and as a democracy depends upon the tools we give our children today. Our state must take much bolder steps to protect this precious resource. Paid back the full $854 million debt owed to schools
Gave schools tools and held them accountable to ensure that all students feel safe and secure at school (anti-bullying bill)
Repealed the high-stakes graduation test and replaced it with a series of assessments to evaluate core skills and ensure career and college readiness
