Issue Position

During my terms as State Rep. we have increased the amount of funding for education and local government every budget. Serving as the House Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Education, I have focused on education policy that will help Massachusetts' students become prepared for post-secondary education and enable them to better compete in a global economy. I was proud to support kindergarten expansion grants, regional school transportation reimbursements, and an increase in the special education circuit breaker.
