Protecting Your Right to Protect Your Family

I believe the Constitution is the foundation that makes this nation great. And at a time when many in Washington are turning their backs on the principles of our Founding Fathers, I continue to cherish and uphold these values to their fullest extent.

It was no accident that our forefathers included the right to bear arms in the Second Amendment of the Constitution. Self-defense--a fundamental right of all law-abiding Americans--absolutely must be protected.

As a member of the Gun Owners of America and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, which endorsed me in 2010, you can be sure that I'll continue to stand up to the liberal gun control lobby in Washington. I refuse to back down, and I'll never compromise the fundamental rights of Americans to protect themselves and their families and enjoy shooting and hunting.

As long as I'm your strong conservative voice in Washington, the inalienable rights of gun owners will be aggressively protected.
