Brett Geymann has shown a fervent commitment to protecting the hard-working Louisiana taxpayers' money. He championed the Coalition on Budget Reform and authored the "Geymann Rule,"-- a signature bill that strongly limits the legislature's ability to use one-time money on recurring expenses. Soon after, Brett became known as the leader of the "Fiscal Hawks," a group of legislators working together for budget reform and responsible stewardship of the people's money. He served eight years on the Appropriations Committee as the elected member representing the 3rd Congressional District and fought against the flow of our tax dollars to the Saints franchise and voted against raising the expenditure limit.
