A significant ballot issue this year is Amendment 1--the Farming Rights Amendment, due to be voted on in the August primary election. I am dedicated to promoting farmer's rights across Missouri, that those rights are protected, and that each and every farmer has the right to conduct their business in the manner that they see fit. Agriculture is an important driver of our economy in Missouri and I will always stand by farmers to guarantee they have what they need to succeed and continue to take care of America's food, energy, and research needs. Because of these factors, you can count on my "Yes" vote on Amendment 1.
