Issue Position

Kris Kobach has turned the Secretary of State's office into a partisan political entity rather than it's true purpose, which is to serve Kansans and make voting easier and MORE accessible, not less. I support efforts to make registering and voting easier and simpler. I do not believe that Kansas residents should be forced to "prove" citizenship or produce birth certificates simply to vote. And I support the recent efforts, spearheaded by Representative Ousley, to ensure that voting machines produce a record that can be audited to ensure that all votes are counted.
