Issue Position

The right wing attack on education is not limited to K-12 education; our public colleges and universities are also at risk. Recently an additional seventeen million dollars in already committed funds were withdrawn from Kansas State, KU and the KU Med Center to help cover budget shortfalls caused by the failed tax policies of the Brownback Administration and his obedient servants in the Republican Legislature. Good public schools and outstanding colleges and universities are the very cornerstone for our children's future and for attracting new companies and good paying jobs to Kansas.
