America's seniors have earned their Social Security and Medicare benefits through a lifetime of hard work. These programs give seniors the financial security they need to retire without worrying about affording critical health care services, prescription drugs, and basic necessities.
Many women who raise families do not have a pension or retirement savings to rely on. They earned a secure retirement and depend on these benefits. To weaken or dismantle Social Security and Medicare is to break a promise to seniors.

Deborah will work in the U.S. Senate to make sure Social Security and Medicare are there for our seniors when they need them. She will work to secure and strengthen them -- not privatize or end them -- so future generations can enjoy the financial security they've earned.
