U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte released the following statement today regarding the terrorist attack in Nice, France on Thursday:

"I join people around the world in condemning the despicable terrorist attack in Nice, France and in expressing my support and prayers for those injured and for the families of those killed-including two Americans. This is yet another deadly terrorist attack on a fellow member of NATO, demonstrating the need for NATO-with American leadership-to implement a strategy that reflects the urgency and severity of the threat."
