Strengthening our economy and supporting efforts to create more good-paying Colorado jobs are at the center of Michael's work every day.

Michael's top priorities are aimed at growing the economy, fostering innovation and creating more opportunities for Coloradans. He has passed tax credits for wind and solar energy production, where Colorado is helping lead the nation in clean energy innovation.

Michael brought a patent office to Denver, which will support thousands of Colorado jobs and encourage entrepreneurship. It's expected to generate over $400 million in economic activity for Colorado.

Michael has introduced a bill to cut taxes for small businesses by allowing them to write off as much as $1 million in new equipment. And he was a champion of the bipartisan CROWDFUND Act, a law that enables entrepreneurs, start-ups, and companies to raise equity financing online through fundraising campaigns.
