Issue Position

West believes that increasing taxes is a last resort solution to budgeting issues. He does not support the increase in personal income tax which will have a negative impact on the people of our county especially the small business owners which are vital to our economy. West will work diligently to gain full accounting of all funds spent by the State, agencies, institutions and surrogates in order to prioritize expenditures and eliminate waste. West will also work full time to partner in every instance that can generate income for the State or alleviate a burden.
