Cory agrees with the GOP platform that states, "taxation should be as equitable, simple and minimal as possible." Cory supports better utilization of all collected tax funds and searching for ways to efficiently utilize current revenue. He will be very hard pressed to support any form of increased taxation. He opposed last year's Proposition 1 and other attempts to raise taxes.
