As was predicted by many, Obamacare is turning out to be a disaster that has done little more than increase insurance rates and make healthcare more expensive for many Americans. Justin Olson has always opposed Obamacare and is committed to doing whatever it takes in Congress to repeal what could be considered one of the most disastrous domestic policies our country has ever had.

As a conservative who is committed to limited government, Justin Olson will push to pass legislation that eliminates the thousands of pages of unnecessary regulations that increase the cost of health insurance for most Americans. He will also support legislation to increase competition in the health insurance market and lower prices by allowing people to purchase health insurance from any state in the nation. Currently, people are only allowed to purchase health insurance from companies licensed in the state they reside in. This requirement increases prices and limits choice for most Americans.

Justin Olson will also push to make health insurance premiums tax deductible for individuals like they currently are for most businesses. There is simply no reason why a large business can deduct the costs of health insurance from their taxes, and individuals cannot.
