Issues: Constitution Legislative Branch
As a State Representative, I have co-sponsored a number of bi-partisan bills. I feel that if it helps the people of New Hampshire and/or the United States, I will support it.
When I vote on any piece of legislation, I base my vote on three criteria:
Is the bill constitutional, on both the State and US Constitution level?
Does the bill make sense and solve the problem it is looking to fix?
If the bill passes, will it create unintended consequenses?
