David opposes Common Core and will vote against any federal takeover of school curriculum.

David supports the elimination of the U.S. Department of Education and supports block granting the department's funds back to the states, so that states like Arizona can get more education funding as well as greater control over how to improve Arizona schools.

David was a key player in making $3.5 Billion in new education spending available to Arizona schools, without raising taxes to pay for it!
