As a former Assemblymember and Torrance School Board member, Al Muratsuchi has a record of delivering the funding our schools need to help our students succeed. As a Torrance school board member, he fought to create a rainy-day fund to prevent cuts to classrooms in future economic crises. In the Assembly he helped restore more than $10 billion in funding to our state and local schools slashed during the recession and wrote laws to crack down on predators in our schools. That's why he's supported by parents and classroom teachers.
