Issues: Infrastructure

One might take roads and infrastructure for granted until they have endured the deplorable state of our roads in Monongalia County. Though we continue to prove ourselves to be an economic engine for the state. However, in terms of taxes, I-79 is strictly southbound to Charleston as we see little to no return on investment coming back north to Monongalia County.

As Monongalia County residents, if we aren't fighting salt and cinders in the winter, we're fighting potholes and flat tires in the summer - all while traffic congestion is a year round condition. Not only does John have fresh ideas to fix and improve our roads and infrastructure, but he will also demonstrate to his fellow delegates the important role that our economy has in this state.
"I will be a refreshing yet aggressive voice for Mon County residents. If the folks in Charleston enjoy the revenue we provide now, then I will make sure they understand what the future could hold if West Virginia would invest in our roads and our infrastructure. I think we'd surpass economic stability."
