"Local Control" and "Personal Responsibility", each time we speak of what made this country the most successful in history these two short phrases rise to the top.

It is the responsibility of parents to educate their children. We must insist on local control when it comes to educating our youth. More involvement by parents and much more flexibility and input from the classroom teacher are a must.
