This was a completely manufactured crisis, begun by Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts and members of City Council. The ordinance defied logic and the will of Charlotte residents.

We must reject this radical agenda and keep our restrooms safe. I have fought on the front lines from Day 1 against the Charlotte bathroom ordinance and I will continue to fight it.
