Issue Position: Enthusiasm

Issue Position

American writer, Ralph Waldo Emerson, famously said "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." I have interpreted his statement to mean that in ordered to succeed at our work, we need to enjoy what we do. I take immense enjoyment in helping the people in my community. I am an active civic leader in my county, doing what I can to make a difference in the peoples' lives that I have grown to care so much for. I am eager to find new ways to contribute, and if I do get the pleasure to meet you out at an event, I hope you will recognize me by my lively interest in doing right by my constituents.
