Texas' infrastructure is rapidly aging as the majority of Texas highways were built more than 40 years ago and cement has a design life of only 40 to 50 years. That is why I supported SJR5 that with voter approval; will provide $2.5 billion for the construction and maintenance of non-tolled roads.
