Issue Position: Defending Religious Liberty

Issue Position

I fear churches and businesses, among others, will be forced to choose whether to violate their deeply held convictions or face fines and worse. I have been involved in the drafting of legislation to protect these groups at the state level. I have been involved in litigation to defend them. And as Attorney General, I will fight in court to protect them if any government, federal or state, tells them that their most sincere convictions merit punishment.
