Plaintiffs' attorneys and their frivolous lawsuits are costing each American about $2,000 each year. In fact, Missouri was recently ranked the 4th worst "judicial hellhole" in the nation. It works like this: plaintiffs bring bogus lawsuits against businesses forcing them to spend more on liability insurance and lawsuit defense. Those costs are passed on to consumers like you and me every time we purchase a product or use a service.

And my opponent is helping them thrive by filibustering multiple attempts at tort reform on behalf of these plaintiffs' attorneys.

It will take political courage and leadership to confront the trial bar. As your Attorney General I will be a strong advocate for reform of our broken lawsuit system.
