Issue Position

One of the biggest threats facing our country and the safety of American's is our broken immigration system. Instead of focusing on securing our borders, keeping our families safe, and ensuring the department of homeland security can track those who enter our country, the President has been focused on using illegal executive actions to grant mass amnesty and open our borders to thousands of refugees from the Middle East.

That is why I helped author and advance proposals to provide additional funding for securing our nation's border with Mexico, opposed bringing additional Syrian refugees into the U.S. until we can certify that we are doing proper background checks on everyone, voted to require all employers to sign documents declaring that none of their employees are illegal immigrants, and filed supporting arguments in the lawsuit against the President's illegal amnesty actions.
